Following a career in logistics, I got into Forex Trading back in 2010 through importing products into the UK from Eastern Europe.
Basically, I was buying products in one currency, usually Hungarian Forints (HUF)/Swiss Francs (CHF) or Euros (EUR), and selling them in British Pounds (GBP).
Through moving real money between jurisdictions I became exposed to what’s known as “Foreign Exchange Rate Risk”.
To mitigate this risk I learned to read Forex Charts, and came to understand how and why currencies fluctuate in value against one another, and started to time my cash money transfers in and out of different currencies.
From there I learned to trade. And from there, unlike everyone else, I got qualified.
Now, nearly 15 years later, I’m a Professional, qualified, LEI Registered Prop-Trader and 1-2-1 Trading Coach.
